Offline retention

post-stream, healthy
The server is not dying — it has a distribution problem, not a quality problem. Offline retention of 40–50 is a strong foundation. Summer starts in under 3 weeks. The window to act is now.
The real problems
Single traffic source
100% of new players come from Blaykeey's stream. No listing sites, no other creators, no organic discovery. One bad stream week = dead server week.
Meta frustration
Players are actively complaining about the current economy meta. This is one of the top reasons people quit SMPs — if farming feels bad, they leave and don't come back.
No store traffic
Went from daily store purchases to 1–3 every few days. Tied to player count, but also a signal that the current store isn't converting active players.
No hype event
No announced summer drop, no reason for lapsed players to return. A seasonal content moment would bring back people who quit over the winter.
Timeline — next 6 weeks
Week 1 — Do this now
Server listing sites + voting rewards
Register on Minecraft-Server-List.com, TopG, Planet Minecraft, and MinecraftServers.org. Set up in-game voting rewards. Takes 1–2 hours and starts generating passive organic traffic. Rankings take time to build so earlier is better.

Week 1–2 — Fix the economy
Meta adjustment + clearlag bone meal fix
Meta complaints are the loudest thing in suggestions. Players who feel the economy is broken stop playing and don't come back. Fix the clearlag bone meal bug and adjust sell prices to reward active farming over AFK.

Week 2–3 — Feature drop
Ship duels, bounties, and /ignore
All three are actively requested. Bounties are the most clip-worthy — Blaykeey with a high bounty on his head during a stream generates content automatically. /ignore is heavily requested QOL. Duels gives PvP players a reason to stay online between events.
duels — nearly donebounties — new/ignore — small lift
Week 3 — When school ends
Summer announcement stream
Blaykeey does a dedicated "summer update" stream announcing the new features. Frame it as a seasonal drop. This is the moment lapsed players return. Coordinate listing sites, voting, and the feature drop to all go live the same week.

Week 4–6 — Growth
Collab with 1–2 other creators
Summer is when creators are looking for content. Blaykeey inviting even one smaller creator (5k–50k subs) who plays and streams creates a second traffic source so you stop being 100% dependent on one stream.

QOL — ship these too
Easy Fix bedrock connection
Bedrock broke after a Minecraft update. Multiple players flagged this — bedrock players are a whole audience segment being blocked.
Easy /my media command
Show media rank expiry date. Already requested in suggestions. Small build, big perceived value for media players.
Medium Custom tags
Builder, map art, redstone nerd, etc. Cosmetic and free, but players love identity. Drives engagement without cost.
Blay Wagers / The Pit
Open PvP zone + item wagers on duels. Requested multiple times. Natural extension of the duels system once it ships.
Revenue: Store purchases correlate directly with player count and hype. The summer drop should spike both. Make sure new features have store tie-ins where it makes sense (bounty tokens, duel cosmetics). Avoid new pay-to-win items that inflate the in-game economy — this is already a player complaint.
